TEACHING RESOURCES BIBLIOGRAPHY
Many IMP Network programs have some common curricula for their students. These common curricula range from individualized major proposal preparation courses, to interdisciplinary research methods courses, to capstones, to courses centered on a specific interdisciplinary theme or topic.
Developing such common curricula has pushed many IMP Network members to think more systematically about how to enhance students’ awareness of disciplinary perspectives and how to strengthen students’ ability to integrate such perspectives. We have found useful resources in the (vast) literature on disciplinarity, interdisciplinarity, and integrative learning and in the work of other professional associations concerned with similar questions.
